Palia: How to Increase Inventory Space
Having a larger Inventory Space can be beneficial in many ways. Players can collect more ingredients, resources, materials, and quest items. They won’t have to worry about cleaning their inventory either by selling useful items or putting them into the Wooden Storage Bin. Players will start with a total of 16 slots in their inventory which will fill up quickly in the first hour of the gameplay. Players can increase the slots of their inventory to a total of 40 by a very simple method but it costs Gold.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to increase Inventory Space in Palia.
How to Increase Inventory Space in Palia
Players can increase the Inventory Space by buying additional Backpacks from Zeki’s General Store in Kimila Village. The General Store is located at the heart of Kimila Village and it runs by an NPC named Zeki. Players can meet Zeki by going to the General Store and as players progress in the game, they will get a letter in the mailbox from Zeki saying that they can upgrade their Inventory Space. Reading the letter will start a quest that will require players to earn 500 Gold.
Once players have earned 500 Gold by selling items in the Shipping Bin or at the General Store, they need to go to the General Store to find a Backpack on display on the left side of the counter. The Backpack will cost 500 Gold and it will increase 8 slots in the inventory. Players can also choose to buy up to 2 more backpacks later in the game which will cost comparatively more Gold. The second Backpack upgrade will cost 5,000 Gold increasing 8 more slots in the inventory.

The first upgrade of inventory space is necessary as players would require more items as they take on more quests and progress ahead in the game. By making more money and unlocking new items, they can choose to upgrade the rest of the inventory slots to have a maximum number of slots available in their inventory.
