Palia: Where to Find & Catch Blobfish

Players can catch various fish types in Palia while doing the Fishing Guild. Catching common and rare fish is the crucial step of leveling up the Fishing Guild to unlock advanced versions of the Fishing Rod as well as new items and crafting recipes at the Fishing Guild Store. One of the common fish that players can catch is Blobfish which Elouisa currently needs.

Where to Find Blobfish in Palia

Blobfish can be found in Caves at any time. There are two caves in Palia, one in Kilima Valley and the other one in Bahari Bay. You can go to either cave to try and find Blobfish but the cave we recommend to catch Blobfish is in Pavel Mines (Bahari Bay).

How to Catch Blobfish in Palia

Upon reaching the pond in Pavel Mines, equip the fishing rod and cast the line in the water while equipping a Glow Worm as bait.

NOTE: Glow Worm bait is mandatory for catching a Blobfish. Make sure to equip Glow Worm Bait on the fishing rod before casting the line into the pond.

Cast the line as far as you can with your fishing rod and wait for the bobber to shake three times. As the bobber starts to move after the third shake, reel in the fish by holding the Left-Click Button and moving the mouse to keep the fish inside the brackets to catch the fish.

Uses of Blobfish in Palia

A Blobfish can be sold for 95 Gold (Base) or 142 Gold (Star Quality) to Zeki or at the Shipping Bin. Moreover, you can also gift it to certain villagers who like it or those who need it. Currently, Elouisa needs a Blobfish until September 1, 2024, so if you caught one, bring it to her.
