Palia: Where to Find Gossamer Veil Moth

Gossamer Veil Moth is one of the Epic bugs in Palia that is required for the Fairywind Bundle of Vault of the Gales Shrine in the Night Sky Island. The Fairywind Bundle requires four rare bugs that players have to collect and contribute to the bundle to complete. One of the Epic bugs is the Gossamer Veil Moth which players can find in the Evening and Night time.

Where to Find Gossamer Veil Moth in Palia

The Gossamer Veil Moth is a dragon-like bug in the game that spawns in the open fields area. It spawns only in the southwest and eastern region of Kilima Valley and can be found at during Evening and Night time. Since the spawn area of this bug is extensive, it is not hard to find it. We found it several times in between the Leafhopper Hills and Reflection Fields areas. 

How to Catch Gossamer Veil Moth in Palia

Catching the Gossamer Veil Moth is easier than other big bugs in Palia as it can be caught easily with the Standard Smoke Bombs. It gets stun easily with 2 to 3 hits of Standard Smoke Bombs but it is essential to throw the Smoke Bombs on it when it is flying steadily. If it is flying at speed, don’t waste the bombs on it as it will disappear and will require you to wait for it to appear again. You can also throw the Sticky Smoke Bombs on it to slow it down and then use the regular Smoke Bombs to stun it.

Once you have stunned the Gossamer Veil Moth, simply go near it and interact with it to pick it up. It will drop 0-7 Silk Thread as well on the catch. Upon catching the Gossamer Veil Moth, you can go back to the Vault of the Gales in the Night Sky Island to contribute it to the bundle.
