Phantom Blade Zero: How to Get Scarlet Wraithblade

Scarlet Wraithblade is a Two-Handed weapon in Phantom Blade Zero. It is one of the powerful weapons that you can acquire early in the game by defeating an optional puppet boss. However, the boss is considered a step up in challenge and is located in a hidden area. In this guide, we will explain how to get Scarlet Wraithblade in Phantom Blade Zero, including how to prepare for the fight.

How to Get Scarlet Wraithblade in Phantom Blade Zero

The Scarlet Wraithblade is rewarded by defeating Hua, Deadly Betrothed. She is the earliest puppet boss that you can encounter in the Flesh Lily Fields area, located on the north side of the Weeping Creek Valley region.

How to Reach the Flesh Lily Fields in Phantom Blade Zero

The path to the Flesh Lily Fields is beneath the Valley Sha-Chi Tower. It is a big mechanical pipe tower that you eventually reach by progressing through the main story. Once you are at the tower, go to the back right side of the tower (ground floor) to find a hole with a bridge sliding down.

Jump down the hole to take a slide to the lily fields. After dropping down from the bridge, follow the path on the left side to reach the Flesh Lily Fields, where you will encounter Hua, Deadly Betrothed.

NOTE: This is where you also get the Flesh Lily for Yu’er.

Preparation for the Fight

Before you challenge Hua, Deadly Betrothed, I recommend that you do the following preparations.

• Upgrade your main primary weapons to at least Level 4.
• Acquire the Feather Bow so that you can shoot at her from a distance.
• Acquire the Focus Pills. This will allow you to have two types of medicines, 6 in total.

Tips and Tricks for the Fight

Hua, Deadly Betrothed is a single-phase boss fight. She has a big AOE lily attack where you can get hit by the red flowers if you stay in them. Other than that, she shoots white lily projectiles at you and summons exploding red lily projectiles. You can block and parry the white projectiles but cannot the red ones. Avoid the red ones and run back to get out of their range.

Parry the regular attacks of Hua and the blue flash attacks. Break her guard and unleash the combo and the Sha-Chi attacks on her for maximum damage potential. Use the Feather Bow Phantom Edge on her from a distance for additional damage. You have to be careful of her grab and posture break attacks. Dodge the red and black flash attacks at all costs; otherwise, you will be left vulnerable to her next attack.

Play safely and offensively, and use healing whenever you are low on HP. If you have the Focus Pills, you will have a total of 6 heals, so do not burn them unnecessarily.
