Pokémon GO confirms the electric Recharge event with Tynamo, Mega-Manectric and Thundurus Totem Form as protagonists

We bring good news for Pokémon GO players. It seems that Niantic continues to prepare new events for its successful application, as confirmed on its official blog.

Today we have been able to learn details about several of them with more data, specifically the Recharge event and its bonuses planned from March 16. We leave you with the data offered:

Charge up the battery and get going – Electric-type Pokémon will soon take center stage during the first Recharge Event! Similar to previous events like PsychoShow and Let’s Go! This event will focus on catching, evolving, and empowering Pokémon of a single type. In this case, the Electric.

From Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, March 22, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. (local time)


Characteristics


Electric-type Pokémon, such as Alolan Geodude, Voltorb, Electrike, Stunfisk, and many more, will appear more frequently in the wild. But stay tuned also to Tynamo, who will debut in Pokémon GO.

The following Electric-type Pokémon will emerge from the 5km Egg hatching: Pichu, Elekid, Electrike, Shinx, Joltik, Tynamo, and Stunfisk.
With the event-exclusive Field Research Tasks you’ll earn Poké Balls, Ampharos Mega Energy, Manectric Mega Energy, Electric-type Pokémon encounters, and more.

There will be a temporary Research focused on evolving and empowering Electric-type Pokémon!

The following Pokémon will appear in raids.

Voltorb, Shinx, Blitzle, Klink, and Tynamo will appear in one-star raids.
Alolan Raichu, Alolan Graveler, Magneton, and Ampharos will appear in three-star raids.

Thundurus Totem Form will first appear in five-star raids.
Mega-evolved Manectric, also known as Mega-Manectric, will debut in Pokémon GO Mega Raids! Mega-Houndoom and Mega-Abomasnow will also appear in mega raids at this time.

You’ll have a better chance of receiving Evolution Items when you open gifts for the duration of the event!
