Pokémon Winds and Waves is the upcoming Pokémon game as part of the series 30^th anniversary. Nintendo revealed this latest installment in February, where players will explore a new tropical island and catch new Pokémon. Pokémon Winds and Waves is still in development and is looking for a release sometime in the summer or late 2027. The Devs have confirmed the three starter Pokémon for this new installment and the open-world where the game takes place. After sometime of the reveal, the fans are trying hard to learn more about the game. One recent rumor reveals the starter Pokémon evolution in Pokémon Winds and Waves.

Pombon Evolves to Bipedal in Pokémon Winds and Waves – Rumor

According to @MrFrozenScott on X, the leaker claims that “Pombon becomes bipedal upon evolution”, which is one of the starter Pokémon in the upcoming Pokémon Winds and Waves. In addition to this, Frozen Scott also mentioned the Starter Pokémon evolution as follows.

• Browt: Grass/Ground Type
• Pombon: Pure Fire Type
• Gequa: Water/Psychic Type

Pokémon community is skeptical about FrozenScott leaks, as he is not an old-timer leaker. He is someone who has shown up out of nowhere with numerous leaks regarding the upcoming title. With a lot of fans questioning the validity of the leaker, FrozenScott said the following.

“The information i have is up to date as of April 2026. I 100% understand everyone questioning my validity, i am someone who just showed up out of nowhere in the past few days. So i dont blame anyone!”

“This is simply just what i know. Other sources may have outdated information, or outright wrong information as well. Some sources dont even know everything such as Khu/Kaka’s source not knowing about Karusu.”

Other leakers, specifically Khu, a renowned leaker of the franchise, have predicted that the game will not be released until “late 2027”. Moreover, Nintendo might not reveal anything new about the game in 2026.
