Potionomics: How to Get new Ingredients
Ingredients are the key items to make a better potion at your shop than the rest of your competitors. You can use different ingredients to balance the potion to increase its worth and it’ll also sell for more price as well as it’ll give you certain bonuses as well.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how you can get more ingredients in your shop in Potionomics.
Getting new Ingredients
The ingredients can be obtained from different NPCs in the game. You can get ingredients from Quinn, Baptiste, and Mint. All three of them have a different approach to giving you the ingredients. If you go over to Quinn, you can buy ingredients directly from her but she’d only have the old ingredients so it is not very useful to buy from her but you can get new ingredients to her if you feed her the new ingredients that you got from somewhere else. In order to get new ingredients, you can get them from Baptiste and Mint.
Baptiste has an investment system in which you have to invest in certain ingredients and Baptiste will find those ingredients along with an extra ingredient which may or may not be a rare ingredient. He will bring the ingredients the next day so you have to wait for a day to get the new ingredients.
You can also approach Mint. Mint is an adventurer and she’ll always be ready to help you. If you invite her for an adventure, you’ll have to select a location on the map from where you want to get the ingredients. After that, a trail of enemies will show on the top side of the screen and Mint will have to defeat the enemies to clear the area and get ingredients. Each enemy she kills will drop a bag of loot. The further she goes, the more ingredients she will bring with her. You can assist her in this adventure by giving her the HP Potions and MP Potions.
Once you get the ingredients, you can go to Quinn and give her the potions to eat then she’ll have them available for sale the following day. You can increase the variety of ingredients in your shop by repeating this method and making rare potions for competitions.
