We bring you a peculiar message shared recently that relates to one of the most prominent titles in the catalog on the hybrid console. This time we’re talking about Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
The post below has gone completely viral on Reddit with over 22,000 votes by showing a price difference between the two versions of this remake. While Shining Pearl costs the original price of $59.99, Brilliant Diamond is shown cheaper at $59.88.
As of yet, fans have not identified the retailer that has displayed these listings, but that hasn’t stopped all sorts of theories from being generated. The most popular is one that claims that the legendary Pokémon Dialga from Brilliant Diamond has controlled time, traveling through various timelines to find a world where Nintendo charges cheaper prices for its modern games, Doctor Strange-style. That would crazily explain why it’s 11 cents cheaper.
Others point out that the exclusive Purugly Pearl Pokémon costs 11 cents and that’s why it’s more expensive. There are many more crazy comments in the post:
