Disney Dreamlight Valley: Relax! Quest Walkthrough

Relax! is one of the newly added story quests for Pumbaa in Disney Dreamlight Valley that players can start in The Lion King Realm after completing theĀ Finding Old Friends quest. This guide will walk you through the Relax! quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Complete Relax! Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Starting the Quest

Relax! quest becomes available immediately after completing the Finding Old Friends quest. You can find and track the quest under the Quests tab of the main menu. Once the quest has started, speak with Pumbaa at the camp in the jungle to learn about the next lesson of Hakuna Matata.

Gather the materials

After speaking with Pumbaa, you need to collect the following materials in the Lion King Realm.

  • 6x Jungle Vines
  • 2x Palm Tree Sap

You can find the Palm Tree Sap on the trees near the pond close to the camp. Look for yellow sap on the trees and interact with it to collect it. For the Jungle Vines, look for the burrowed sparkling vines on the ground. Dig the vines out of the ground using the Shovel tool to collect the Jungle Vines. Each sparkling spot will give 2 vines. The locations for the Jungle Vines are as follows.

  • The same area where you find Sap.
  • Close to the river.
  • Next to the pond in the starting area of the Realm.

Craft your Relaxing Hammock

Upon gathering the materials, go to the Crafting Station to craft a Relaxing Hammock. You can find the recipe for Relaxing Hammock under the Functional Items tab. After crafting a Relaxing Hammock, speak with Pumbaa to give him the hammock.

As Pumbaa places the Hammock down, go next to the hammock and sit on it to try it. Once done, speak with Pumbaa again.

Try out Pumbaa’s leafy napping spots

After speaking with Pumbaa, you need to sit on Pumbaa’s leafy napping spots scattered throughout the Realm. The first spot is near your Relaxing Hammock, the second one is near the river, and the last one is in the starting area where you first spawn.

  • Near the camp
  • Near the river
  • Near the oasis

Once you have tried out all of the napping spots, report back to Pumbaa near the camp. After that, choose any napping spot to rest until the night. Upon resting until night, speak with Pumbaa again.

Water the dried mud piles

Equip the Watering Can tool and water the three mud piles near the pond close to the camp. After that, run through the mud piles and then go to the camp to speak with Pumbaa.

Find Jungle Fireflies for a late-night snack

Pumbaa will ask you to collect some Jungle Fireflies around the Lion King Realm for a snack. You can find the Jungle Fireflies in the area where you just watered the mud piles, close to the river, and the oasis. Glide close to the fireflies to catch them easily.

Cook Roasted Jungle Fireflies

After collecting the Jungle Fireflies, go to the Volcanic Stove close to the river, outside of the cave to cook Roasted Jungle Fireflies. Navigate to the quest section while at the stove to find the recipe and then autofill the ingredients to cook the Roasted Jungle Fireflies.

Give Roasted Jungle Fireflies to Pumbaa

Now, bring the Roasted Jungle Fireflies meal to Pumbaa and go through the dialogues. Take a picture with Pumbaa and then say goodnight to him and Timon.

Go over to your leafy bed and interact with it to sit on it. Listen to the conversation between Timon and Pumbaa. As the time switches to daylight, the quest will conclude.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
