Rhythm Heaven Groove Demo Now Available on Switch

The demo for Rhythm Heaven Groove is now live on the Nintendo eShop, giving players an early taste of the new mechanics ahead of the full release.

Nintendo fans can finally get their hands on the next entry in one of the company’s most beloved rhythm series. Following its reveal at the June 9 Nintendo Direct, the demo lets players try out five new minigames, either solo or with friends, as they get into the groove before the official launch on July 2, 2026.

Rhythm Heaven Groove sticks to what made the series iconic: a collection of quirky, music-driven minigames that demand perfect timing. If you’re a fan of WarioWare ‘s chaotic energy, you’ll feel right at home here—the gameplay is instantly accessible yet deeply engaging, asking you to sync every action to the beat across a wild variety of challenges. Japanese producer Tsunku returns to guide players through the game’s signature blend of the bizarre and the spectacular.

The demo is free to download right now on the Nintendo eShop for Switch. Best of all, any progress you make will carry over to the full version when it launches next month.
