Sakurai Confirms Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Next DLC Character Will Be His Last, Coming This Year

After the announcement of Kazuya as a new DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Nintendo also announced a new presentation for today where these characters would be shown in detail. It has already been confirmed that this Direct would leave us several details and now we bring you an interesting one.
In the direct, Sakurai has confirmed that the next DLC character will be the last one and that it will be announced and released this year. He has not specified more details, but he wanted to make it clear that, after this, no more additional characters will arrive through Fighters Pass.
Therefore, the next and final DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be announced and released this year, three years after the game hit stores in December 2018. When Sakurai finishes his work on the game, he intends to continue working on other games, even though he’s already thinking about retirement …
The fans of this saga still have months to theorize who will be the final character of the game, which despite the constant “leaks” and leaks, almost never get it right.
Along with Kazuya, which goes on sale tomorrow, May 29, there are also four Mii skins of characters from other sagas that, curiously, have been four characters in high demand as fighters … and in the end, they have ended up in the game, although in the form of a skin. They are Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia, the Dragonborn from Skyrim, Dante from Devil May Cry, and Shantae, which also includes a music track.
Sakurai also confirmed that they are still working on the Mii of all DLC fighters, although for some reason, they are taking a long time to arrive. Today he has only shown a prototype of the Min Min amiibo , which looks spectacular, but it will be released in 2022.
Remember, Kazuya from Tekken will be released on June 29, and if you want to know more, do not miss Sakurai’s presentation, where he details all the movements and combos of the character, very different from the rest of the fighters.
