Sakurai says the presentation for Smash Bros. Ultimate next DLC has been delayed

Masahiro Sakurai was about to give a presentation for Smash Bros. Ultimate next DLC. Unfortunately, the coronavirus has caused the presentation of the next DLC to be delayed.

Sakurai confirms the delay of the presentation through his column on Famitsu. In his column, he did not mention the particular date but mentioned that the presentation has been delayed due to COVID-19. Because, if the virus affects some of the workers, they would have to stop development temporarily. He adds that Nintendo may announce the character, but that its development would have to stop.

Sakurai has not specified when this presentation was scheduled, but it is believed that it would be broadcast similarly to Terry or Byleth.

It is also not known whether this will affect the release plans of all the DLC in the game. Remember that there are 6 more DLC characters that are part of the second Fighters Pass that will be released, sequently, until the end of 2021.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
