Starfield: How to Start the Starjacker Bounty Mission

Starfield’s June Update comes with a couple of new quests related to Trackers and a brand-new board from where players can accept various bounties for several rewards. The first main quest that players will be able to accept is called The Starjacker but it has its own set of prerequisite steps that players must complete before initiating the quest.

This guide will walk you through each step that you need to undertake to start the Starjacker quest in Starfield.

How to Start the Starjacker Bounty Mission in Starfield

The Starjacker bounty mission is related to the Trackers, a new faction available in the latest update of Starfield. To get started with the method of initiating the Starjacker mission, you will first have to find a Tracker and speak with them.

Speak with the Mysterious Tracker

For the first step, you need to speak with the Mysterious Tracker. You can find the Mysterious Tracker in Cydonia on Mars. Select Mars in the SOL System and then choose Cydonia as a landing point. When you land at the entrance of the Mining Colony of Cydonia, you will see a new NPC at the gate. She is the Mysterious Tracker that you need to speak with.

Upon speaking with her, she will tell you about the Trackers and how they find your character’s file fitting for the role of a Tracker. Choose the dialogues to learn more about the Trackers and learn that there is a full Headquarters of them.

Go to the Trackers Alliance HQ

After learning about the Headquarters of Trackers Alliance, hop back on your ship and make your way to the HQ. It is located in Akila City on the Akila Planet of the Cheyenne System. Once you have landed in Akila City, go to the northeast side of the city and you will discover the Trackers Alliance HQ.

Speak with Agent No. 1

Enter the Trackers Alliance HQ and speak with Agent No. 1 standing ahead with another tracker named Roach. Interact with Agent No. 1 and agree to be a tracker. Go through the rest of the dialogues and you will get the option to accept the bounty.

The new bounty board is located on the right and the very first bounty mission it has will be the Starjacker. Now, simply choose to accept the Starjacker bounty to initiate the mission.
