Throughout your journey of The First Descendant, you will come across various rarities of weapons. You can freely use any rarity of weapon you like for your build and level them up for more DPS and Attack Power. However, upon getting your first Ultimate Weapon, you would see a unique ability attached to it, leaving you wondering how you can enhance it to make use of this ability.

How to Upgrade the Unique Ability of Weapons in The First Descendant

The Unique Ability is an exclusive trait for the Ultimate Weapons in The First Descendant. Each Ultimate Weapon holds a certain unique ability that can be seen by hovering over it. Moreover, you will see the level of the unique ability represented by four bars. Initially, the weapon will have zero level on its unique ability which makes the unique ability almost negligible on the weapon.

Now, for you to actually utilize the unique ability, you need to level up its unique ability. To level up the unique ability on any Ultimate Weapon, you will be required another Ultimate Weapon with an identical unique ability. For instance, if you have a Thunder Cage that possesses the Overcharge Unique Ability, you need to get yourself another Thunder Cage with an Overcharge unique ability to enhance the level of the unique ability.

Upon getting yourself two same Ultimate Weapons with the same Unique Ability, go to the Workbench and select the ‘Enhance Unique Ability’ option. Here, you will see all of your weapons that possess a unique ability. Select the weapon to which you wish to upgrade the unique ability and then select the other identical weapon to complete the process of upgrading the level of unique ability.

Fortunately, if you progress through the main story of the game, you will get two Thunder Cage weapons in total. Make sure that you don’t sell or dismantle your initial Thunder Cage weapon to upgrade its unique ability.
