Rumor: The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask also coming to Nintendo Switch

New rumors suggest that both titles in The Legend of Zelda series, Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask, will arrive on Nintendo Switch to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of the franchise.

This year 2021 is very special for some of the most iconic and well-known sagas of video games, as we already told you in the report on games and sagas that celebrate their anniversary in 2021. One of them is The Legend of Zelda, which with its 35 years of life Nintendo may be preparing more than one re-release on Nintendo Switch.

For now, and as you well know, The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword in HD was already announced for Nintendo Switch, but it would not be the only one because there are many months ahead. During the latest episode of his podcast, NateDrake – a trusted source for Nintendo leaks – said that he hopes to see Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask (at least) on Nintendo Switch before the end of the year.

He even ventures to say that other games like The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess will also be available on the console. This is not the first time that these releases have been discussed after the premiere of Skyward Sword HD on Switch, however, the mentions of Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask are.

Both titles also came to Nintendo 3DS a few years ago, so at the moment it is not clear if they will return with a new layer for Switch or if they will be from those versions. For now, we will be very much waiting for Nintendo for E3 2021, since they confirmed their attendance and they may have an announcement as such prepared for the occasion.

Meanwhile, many fans of the saga are waiting for news about the development of Breath of the Wild 2, a sequel to Breath of the Wild, and a title that premiered with Nintendo Switch. Although for now, and according to Aonuma, it will take a little more patience.
