The fast travel function in theHunter – Call of the Wild is quickly explained:

• Outposts are critical to fast travel. These are namely fast travel points.
• In order to travel to an outpost, you must first have discovered and visited it. Then interact with the flagpole in the middle of the area.
• Once unlocked, you can quickly travel to the outpost from anywhere in the wilderness.
• All you have to do is open the map, click on the desired outpost and select the fast travel option.
• There are no costs.

In addition to the fast travel, the outposts fulfill other important functions. You can rest in the bed, replenish supplies and buy new equipment outside. So there are several good reasons to discover as many outposts as possible.
