What An Animal Crossing Expansion Pass Could Add

A secret event is discovered that will take place this month in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The rise of paid DLC or expansion packs in video games has generated a lot of buzz about the future of new releases, offering fans the chance to let their imaginations run wild about what new content might be on the way for their favorite titles.

Well, this is the case with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which more than a year after its release on Nintendo Switch is already beginning to sound the idea of an upcoming expansion pass, as has already happened with other games from the Japanese company such as Splatoon 2 or Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Among the most prominent claims was an increase in the number of villagers, island expansion, and new buildings or events, among other things. One thing that fans didn’t like after the game’s release was the lack of a lot of furniture, items, and clothing that we see in both Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, which is why Nintendo will probably decide to start there when it comes to significantly expand the available content.

Another great idea would be to add new ways of interacting with different neighbors and villagers, which would make Animal Crossing: New Horizons even more dynamic. However, Nintendo hasn’t said anything about this at the moment, so if we see anything it will probably be in 2022 at the earliest.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
