Where to Find & Catch Koi in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Storybook Vale expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley offers several new fish that players can catch for various purposes including cooking new meals and completing the quests. One of the new fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley is Koi. Players will have to get Koi for various expansion quests along with friendship quests for the new characters and many other cooking recipes. This guide will help you get Koi in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Where to Find and Catch Koi in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Koi is one of the new fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley exclusive to the Storybook Vale expansion. Players can get Koi by fishing in the open water or the White Ripples around the Bind biome.

Unlike the Everafter and Mythopia biomes, The Bind biome does not have separate areas. It is one big biome itself with the Library section where you can interact with the Lorekeeper Book. You will get to unlock the Bind biome first at the cost of 500 Story Magic. Once you have access to the Bind biome, go to any fishing area and start fishing in the White ripples or open water (no ripples).

Complete the fishing mini-game of reeling in the catch to have a chance of catching the Koi. However, there are some common fish in the waters of Bind so it might take you a few tries before you catch the Koi. Moreover, make sure that your Royal Fishing Rod tool does not have any elixir/potion on it. Otherwise, you will catch other fish often instead of Koi in the open water.

Upon reeling the Koi out of the water, you will find it in your inventory.

Uses of Koi

Koi is a new fish exclusive to the Storybook Vale expansion. Players will need it for cooking various meals. Moreover, players can also sell it for 50 Star Coins at Goofy’s Stall or consume it to regenerate 150 Energy.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
