The Storybook Vale expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley offers several new fish that players can catch for various purposes including cooking new meals and completing the quests. One of the new fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley is the Stygian Mudskipper. Players will have to get Stygian Mudskipper for various expansion quests along with friendship quests for the new characters and many other cooking recipes. How to Get Stygian Mudskipper in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Stygian Mudskipper is one of the new fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley exclusive to the Storybook Vale expansion. Players can get Stygian Mudskipper by fishing in the Gold Ripples in all the areas of the Mythopia biome.

There are four areas in the Mythopia biome, The Elysian Fields, The Fiery Plains, The Statue’s Shadow, and Mount Olympus. You will get to unlock the Elysian Fields first at the cost of 2,000 Story Magic. Once you have access to the Mythopia biome, go to any fishing area and start fishing in the Gold Ripples (bubbles).

Complete the fishing mini-game of reeling in the catch to have a chance of catching the Stygian Mudskipper. However, there are some common fish in the waters of Stygian Mudskipper so it might take you a few tries before you catch the Stygian Mudskipper. Moreover, you can put the elixir/potion on the Fishing Rod to increase the chances of catching Stygian Mudskipper from Gold Pools.

Upon reeling the Stygian Mudskipper out of the water, you will find it in your inventory.

Uses of Stygian Mudskipper

Stygian Mudskipper is a new fish exclusive to the Storybook Vale expansion. Players will need it for cooking various meals and completing the main story and friendship quests. Moreover, players can also sell it for 1,500 Star Coins at Goofy’s Stall or consume it to regenerate 1,800 Energy.
