Magma is one of the new Gems in Disney Dreamlight Valley introduced with the Storybook Vale expansion. It is an exclusive and valuable gem that players can find in Storybook Vale, a brand-new world only accessible to the players who own the A Rift in Time Expansion. In this guide, we’ll go over where you can find the Magma in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Where to Find Magma in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Magma is obtained from mining the Black Rock deposits found inside the Mythopia biome of Storybook Vale. It is the second/third biome that players will get to reach as they progress in the main story questline of the expansion.

The Mythopia biome is located on the east side of Storybook Vale. Players can find Magma in all the areas of Mythopia biome which are as follows.

  • The Elysian Fields – Costs 2,000 Story Magic to unlock.
  • The Fiery Plains – Costs 5,000 Story Magic to unlock.
  • The Statue’s Shadow – Costs 5,000 Story Magic to unlock.
  • Mount Olympus – Costs 10,000 Story Magic to unlock.

All of these areas hold multiple mining nodes from which players can get the Magma. Simply equip the Royal Pickaxe and press the RMB on the mining nodes to mine them and obtain Magma. Each mining node will have a chance of dropping either 1x Magma or Shiny Magma and if you are lucky, you might even hit a jackpot and get multiple Magmas at once.

It is better to bring along a villager with a Mining role to have a chance of getting more Magmas from mining.

Uses of Magma Gem in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Players will need Magma Gem for various main story quests in the Storybook Vale expansion and friendship quests for the new characters. Moreover, the selling price of Magma is 400 Star Coins and Shiny Magma is 1,600 Star Coins. You can sell it at one of the Goofy’s Stalls in Storybook Vale, Eternity Isle, and Dreamlight Valley.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
