Palia’s Latest Patch Rebalances Resources
Palia is a newly launched free-to-play Simulation MMORPG that conducted its Closed Beta at the beginning of August. Currently, its Open Beta is available for all players to experience. The Open Beta commenced on August 10, 2023, and on August 16, 2023, Palia released its inaugural update, which addressed over 150 bugs, and introduced new story quests, UI improvements, and various other enhancements. Among the pivotal modifications in this latest patch is the rebalancing of resources. Since all players must collect resources to craft new items, they will notice alterations in spawn rates and drop rates.
Players who are eager to advance their Guilds by resource gathering are keen to comprehend these changes, as certain elements have been recalibrated in this patch.
Kimila Village Map – Rebalanced Resources
- Substantially increased the frequency of Clay spawns.
- Decreased the density of forageables across Kilima.
- Slightly reduced the spawn density of hunting creatures to shift the gameplay experience from a shooting gallery sensation to a more authentic hunting feel.
- Diluted the density of insects across Kilima, dispersing them more evenly.
- Augmented the number of Fishing hotspots in the Mirror Pond Ruins.
Bahari Bay Map – Rebalanced Resources
- Rectified several inaccessible Heat Root spawn points.
- Reduced the density of forage spawning on the beach.
- Slightly decreased forage spawning in the Meadows.
- Markedly increased forage spawning in the Forest.
- Introduced additional locations for foraging, insects, hunting creatures, and mining nodes in less populated areas.
- Moderately increased Iron spawning throughout the zone.
- Expanded the number of Fishing hotspots in the Pavel Mines.
Many players concur that foraging and hunting were concentrated around the Kimila Village Map, prompting developers to shift the focus to areas where resource availability was more scarce. Consequently, the rebalanced resources in the latest patch will encourage players to explore different regions of Bahari Bay and Kimila Village in order to gather resources.
