Palia New Beginnings Update Patch 0.188 Releases Today

With Lunar New Year just a week away, Palia announced its first major update of this year. This new update will include celebrations of Luna New Year while bringing back the beloved Maji Market event in Kilima Valley. The new Palia update is called New Beginnings Patch 0.188 and releases on all available platforms today, January 23, 2025.

Palia tweeted recently briefly highlighting the major features of New Beginnings along with a sneak peek of the update via a trailer.

All the original activities of Maji Market like chasing chapaas, Pop A Chapaa (balloon), Claw Machines, and taking pictures will still be there along with various stalls of the villagers. In addition to these activities, there will be a new exclusive Luna New Year celebration at the docks of Maji Market.

Zeki’s Loyalty Club is an upcoming feature that the Devs shared in their recent blog. It is a new way of getting more Palia Coins for less money. This new feature will allow you to join Zeki’s Loyalty Club for a certain price and you will get a certain amount of Palia Coins for the next 30 days. However, the release date of this feature is unknown at this point. It might come close to the release of the Elderwood biome somewhere in the second quarter of this year.

Palia New Beginnings (Patch 0.188) will be released on available platforms on January 23, 2025.
