Moonlighting As A Hero is a Realm quest for Phil in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This quest begins automatically by unlocking Hercules Realm in the Dream Castle. It is the introductory Realm quest that will lead players to solving the mystery in the Realm and bringing Phil and Hercules to the Valley. How to Complete Moonlighting As A Hero Quest – Disney Dreamlight Valley

Step into the Realm and Speak with Phil

After unlocking Hercules Realm in the Dream Castle, enter the Realm. Go to Phil standing near Dark Thorns and Strange Fog. Speak with Phil and go through the dialogues. After that, interact with the Dark Thorns to investigate the area. Once done, go back to the pedestal to find Phil. Speak with him again.

Fish out the Moon Headband from the pool of water

After speaking with Phil, equip the Fishing Rod and cast the line into the gold ripples in the pool of water. Complete the fishing mini-game and fish out the Moon Headband. Once done, place the Moon Headband on Artemis Pedestal. After that, speak with Phil.

Gather some offerings

After speaking with Phil, you need to gather the following offerings from the area.

• 3x Greek Clay: Use the Royal Shovel on the clay patches on the ground.
• 3x Greek Flowers: Pick up the flowers growing on the ground.
• 3x Sylvan Wood: Use the Royal Shovel on the tree stumps.

Upon gathering all of the materials, go to the Artemis Pedestal. Interact with it to place all three natural offerings to the pedestal.

Wear the Moon Headband

As you place all the natural offerings, it will power the Moon Headband. Speak with Phil, and then pick up the Moon Headband from the pedestal. Open the Wardrobe and equip the Moon Headband.

Remove the Dark Thorns and Follow Phil

Follow Phil to a path in the area. Interact with the Dark Thorns to remove them. Continue along the path while removing all the Dark Thorns. As you reach the end, speak with Phil. He will ask you to run a course to test the moonlight ability.

Start the Obstacle Course

Interact with the starting line to initiate the obstacle course. You need to complete the course in under 2 minutes and activate all 5 Moonlight Beacons along the course. Moreover, pick up the coins along the course for the optional objective. You need to remove the Dark Thorns and break the debris around some of the beacons using the Royal Pickaxe.

The course itself is not that big, so it will hardly take you a minute to complete it. Once done, speak with Phil.

Enter the Dark Woods and Activate all Moonlight Beacons

Now, follow Phil to the entrance to the Dark Woods. Remove the Dark Thorns and activate the beacon to enter the Dark Woods. Here, you need to activate a number of Moonlight Beacons. Follow the path to the right and activate every Moonlight Beacon along the way.

Upon activating all Moonlight Beacons, a brief cutscene will play.

Talk to Hercules

As you find Hercules, go down and speak with him near the cliff. Go through the dialogues with Hercules and the Moonlighting As A Hero quest will conclude. Moreover, it will initiate the “Speedrun Crash Course” quest for Hercules.
