Palia: Path of the Maws Guide – All Rewards

The Sunkissed Summer: Amberlight Affair update brings a new Lunar Path to Palia, Path of the Maws. It is the seventh Lunar Path in Palia and has a fishing and shark theme. As players progress through the tiers of the Path of the Maws, they will unlock various rewards, including cosmetics, a tool skin set, plushies, fishing bonuses, and more. In this guide, we will explain everything you need to know about Path of the Maws, including all premium and free rewards.
Path of the Maws – Progression
The Path of the Maws is the latest Lunar Path in Palia, added on July 6, 2026. It includes 28 tiers of premium and free rewards. All players can progress through the tiers and unlock exclusive rewards by earning Lunar XP. Each tier requires 10,000 Lunar XP to unlock. Players who do not have the Premium Unlock can only redeem free tier rewards. The Premium Unlock costs 1,275 Palia Coins.
How to Earn Lunar XP
Lunar XP is unique to Lunar Paths, allowing players to rank up tiers to unlock rewards. There are two efficient ways to earn Lunar XP: completing the Dailies and Bundles. The Dailies reward 5,000 XP per quest, and the Bundles reward 10,000 XP per bundle. Completing two dailies will get you 10,000 XP, enough to unlock 1 tier in Path of the Maws. There are four bundles at the Bulletin Board, allowing you to earn 40,000 Lunar XP.

How to Farm Lunar XP in Palia – Activities Method
You can earn Lunar XP by earning Skill XP. This means that doing the regular activities of fishing, cooking, mining, foraging, furniture making, etc., will reward a percentage of Skill XP as Lunar XP. Moreover, since the Skill XP is quite low, the player will have an additional Rest XP. It is a system that multiplies the Lunar XP earned from activities by 10x. The Rest XP banks up every Palia Day (1 hour in real life). So, every hour your earned Lunar XP from skills will be multiplied by 10x.
One of the best ways to quickly farm Lunar XP is to perform activities as long as you can. Once you are done for the day, quit the game and log in the next day. As you log in, you will have a bonus XP of hours waiting to multiply the Lunar XP. This way, you will quickly climb through the tiers and unlock rewards from the new Path of the Maws without struggling to grind.

After completing the Path of the Maws, the Highland Shark (legendary fish) will unlock for you to fish. You can find and catch the Highland Shark in the saltwaters of Royal Highlands.
