Palia: How to Unlock the Flutterfox

The Ranching Skill in Palia lets you raise and take care of various Palian animals. The latest update of Palia adds a new animal, Flutterfox, to the ranch. It is the thirteenth ranching animal that players can add to their ranch. Flutterfoxes were mainly creatures that players can have as pets, but now they can have them as their ranching animals as well. In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock Flutterfox in Palia.

How to Unlock Flutterfox in Palia

Flutterfox is a new animal available for the player’s ranch in Palia. It is an adorable and charming animal. The overall look of the animal is that of a fox. To unlock the Flutterfox animal at your ranch, you must acquire a Flutterfox Voucher by feeding a wild Flutterfox its favorite food, Flutterhoney. Flutterhoney is the new item in the Amber Echo Store that becomes available after reaching Ranching Level 10. It costs 3,000 Amber Echo for 1 Flutterhoney.

NOTE: The Amber Echo Store becomes available after completing Chapter 3 of the main story in Palia.

Where to Find the Wild Flutterfox

After acquiring the Flutterhoney from the Amber Echo Store, you need to find the Wild Flutterfox. The permanent spot for the Wild Flutterfox is on the southwestern side of the Royal Highlands, next to Mudan’s Wall. The exact coordinates for the Flutterfox are B9. From the southern Stable Point, head west towards Mudan’s Wall. As you go through the arches, the Flutterfox will be sitting on the ground ahead.

Approach the Flutterfox and interact with it. Go through the dialogue, and you will receive the Flutterfox Voucher.

NOTE: Make sure you have the Flutterhoney in your inventory.

Purchase the Flutterfox at the Ranch

Once done, you can use the voucher at the Ranching Store to get your first Flutterfox ranching animal. After using the voucher, you will unlock the ability to purchase more Flutterfox animals from the Ranching Store for 2,500 Gold. However, it does not appear in the store for purchase until you get the Flutterfox Voucher. As you purchase the Flutterfox, it will arrive at your Ranch as a baby with a random trait, color, and pattern.

NOTE: If you don’t have access to Ranching yet, complete the Like A Bird quest. After that, Delaila visits the plot and introduces you to your Ranch area.
