Big Walk: How to Lower the Red Drawbridge

The Red Drawbridge is the first obstacle in your way in Big Walk as you and your fellow explorers start the journey. Heading straight to the beach from the spawn point will lead you to a red staircase that connects to a drawbridge. For you and your party to access the rest of the island, getting across the red drawbridge is essential. Although it seems easy at first, getting across will require you to solve four puzzles and shape the key accordingly. In this guide, we will explain how to lower the red drawbridge in Big Walk.

How to Lower the Red Drawbridge in Big Walk

The Red Drawbridge is located at the beach beside the rocks, directly ahead of the spawn point in Big Walk. Lowering the Red Drawbridge requires a key, which you can spot at the crown structure just before the bridge. Go to the crown structure to see four buttons that control the slots in front. You must place four red objects into the slots to get the key. After that, you must cut the key inside five different shredders to make it work.

NOTE: At least 2 players are required to progress in Big Walk. Make sure to join up with a friend, as you cannot progress solo.

Below, we have listed all the places you can get the red objects to get the key for the bridge.

Yellow Scaffolding Puzzle

The Yellow Scaffolding is right of the main spawn point in Big Walk. From the crown structure, head back to the main open area and go to the left of the red gate (spawn point). Here, you will come across a yellow scaffolding holding a red object at the top. Tell Player 1 to crouch beneath the button at the top. Player 2 can then jump on top of Player 1. After that, Player 2 needs to jump up to reach the button and interact with it. Wait for the mechanism to unscrew, and the red object will drop.

Once you have the object, take it back to the crown structure and put it in any slot.

Blue Telescope Puzzle

The Blue Telescope is up the hill near the yellow scaffolding puzzle location. Head up to the hill to find a button and a telescope. Pressing the button opens up a box in the distance with a flashing red light and the object. You can use the telescope to see the box. Player 1 needs to guide Player 2 to the box’s location using the telescope. Once Player 2 is at the box’s location, Player 1 needs to press the button. After that, Player 2 can take the red object from the box.

Bring the red object back to the crown structure to put it in the slot.

Green Structure Puzzle

From the painting room in the open area, go to the path heading up on the right. Follow the path to reach the green structure. There are two buttons on the green structure and the red object in the middle. Both players need to press the button simultaneously to release the red object. Once done, pick up the object and bring it back to the crown structure.

Blue House Puzzle

For the final red object, go to the Blue House, which is near the box’s location from the blue telescope puzzle. Go back to the mountains where the box was, and head down to the right. The trail will lead you to a blue house. For this puzzle, both players need to communicate accurately. Once there, one of the players must step inside the room and close the door. As the door closes, various shapes will appear on the screen. The player inside the room must call out these shapes to the other player, who then has to place the shapes in the correct sequence outside the room.

NOTE: The sequence of the shapes is random for every party.

After placing all the shapes correctly, press the button to release the red object. Now, bring the final red object back to the crown structure.

Shred the Key to Lower the Bridge

After placing all four red objects into the slots at the crown structure, the Key will drop to the ground. Pick up the key and insert it into a shredder on the right. Wait for the carve, and the shredder will point you to the next shredder. Go to the next one, insert the key, and wait for the signal. You have to do this a total of five times.

Once done, the key will be carved to fit the slot at the bridge. Go to the bridge with the key and place it. The bridge will lower, and you can continue ahead with your friend to access the rest of the island.
