Big Walk: How to Get a Map

The island in Big Walk is big and full of POIs, secrets, supply points, and numerous sights. There is no hand-holding in Big Walk. You and your party members are on your own to explore the island and solve numerous puzzles. Throughout the journey, you can come across various buildings that can offer you various tools to help or certain POIs that can unlock shortcuts. As the island is big, you can miss out on such POIs; a map becomes the most essential tool for the party. In this guide, we will explain how to get a map in Big Walk.

How to Get a Map in Big Walk

The Map is one of the navigational tools in Big Walk. It contains the markings of all crucial points on the islands that you and your party members can visit. Moreover, the map makes it simpler to locate certain coordinates, which are essential to solving some of the main puzzles.

Now, to get the map in Big Walk, you must first get past the red drawbridge, which is the starting area of the game. After crossing the bridge, you will arrive at the big gate, which is the spawn point. Within this area, there is a giant red staircase that leads to a closed door. Behind this door is the map room, and this is where you find the foldable map.

How to Open the Map Room in Big Walk

Opening the map room requires a key, which you can get from completing the Red Tower. The Red Tower is one of the many colorful towers on the island. This tower is close to the spawn point, and you can access it by going up the hill. Once you are at the top, you will see five slots for the red collectibles. You need to find and place all five red collectibles into the slots to get the key.

There are five puzzles located in the surroundings of the Red Tower that you must complete. Solving each puzzle rewards you with one red collectible. After gathering all five, place them into the slots at the top of the tower to get the key.

After getting the key, bring it to the main entrance of the Red Tower. Here you will spot a shredder. Insert the key into the shredder, and follow the marker on it to the next shredder. Keep shredding the key at every shredder, and you will arrive at the staircase to the map room.

Once the key is ready, place it into the slot of the map room to unlock it. Head inside to get an aerial view of the island. Moreover, the foldable map will be inside the room that you can pick up alongside the compass. You can keep the map on you if you have the backpack on the character.
