Palia: How to Unlock Valhast

Valhast is finally stepping out of the story and is now available as a ranching animal and rideable mount in Palia. It is a new animal for the player’s ranch, where they can raise and take care of it alongside other animals. In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock the Valhast animal in Palia.

How to Unlock Valhast in Palia

Valhast is a new animal available for the player’s ranch in Palia for free. It is an adorable and charming animal. To unlock the Valhast animal at your ranch, you must acquire a Valhast Voucher by reaching Tier 45 in Civic Project: Docks. The Civic Project: Docks is a new collective quest feature that you can progress. As you craft and donate the supply boxes at the docks, you will earn Dock XP, allowing you to level up the tiers. Once you have reached Tier 45, you can claim the Valhast Voucher from the Civic Project: Docks section in the Lunar Path tab.

Purchase the Valhast at the Ranch

Once done, you can use the voucher at the Ranching Store to get your first Valhast ranching animal. After using the voucher, you will unlock the ability to purchase more Valhast animals from the Ranching Store for 10,000 Gold. However, it does not appear in the store for purchase until you get the Valhast Voucher. As you purchase the Valhast, it will arrive at your Ranch as a baby with a random trait, color, and pattern.

NOTE: If you don’t have access to Ranching yet, complete the Like A Bird quest. After that, Delaila visits the plot and introduces you to your Ranch area.

Valhast Animal Drops

Similar to other animals on your ranch, the Valhast animal also gives you something in return for taking care of them. The Valhast animal will provide you with a steady supply of Arrows.

NOTE: Valhast is also a rideable mount. However, to ride Valhast, you must purchase a Valhast Riding License for 2,550 Palia Coins.

When Valhast animals first arrive at the ranch, they can have random traits like the other animals. In addition, they can have various cosmetic traits. The cosmetic traits for Valhast consist of Color, Pattern, Sheen, and Visual Effects.
