Aniimo: How to Catch Aniimo Effectively

Aniimo offers a hundred creatures of different elements that you can catch during exploration. The system for catching Aniimo is similar to Palworld or Pokémon. However, as Aniimo is a brand-new game, it is essential to learn how to catch these creatures effectively. This is because the game offers various types of pods, each with different catch rates. It is best to use the pods precisely to not burn out your resources for crucial moments in the game or story. In this guide, we will explain how to catch Aniimo effectively in Aniimo.

How to Catch Aniimo Effectively

During your exploration on Idyll (Aniimo’s World), you can find yourself coming across different species and variants of Aniimo (creatures). The game makes it clear that you have to catch various Aniimo to build a team to tackle the challenges across the world map. To catch any Aniimo, you have to go into Capture Mode by equipping the Aniipod (capturing item), then aim and throw the pod at the creature. In the early hours of the journey, you will be able to catch a few species easily with the simple method. However, not all species can be captured with a single throw, as for some of them you have to either be sneaky or fight before you can catch them.

Catch The Aniimo from Behind

Being stealthy can help you catch many creatures with a single throw in Aniimo. After spotting an Aniimo, do not alert them; instead, try to rotate around them to get behind them. Once done, equip an Aniipod and throw it at them to catch them. If an Aniimo is alerted, it will not go down without a fight. To make the stealth approach better, use the “Tweetin’ Target” character skill to distract the Aniimo. As the Aniimo walks over to the duck, it will give you enough time to get behind them.

Break Aniimo to Catch Them

If you have come across an Aniimo that does not want to go without a fight, then it is best that you stagger it by doing Break damage. Break damage fills up the Break meter to initiate a stagger. When an Aniimo is staggered, the catch rate increases. Use the Aniimo from your team with Break damage abilities to stagger the creature. After that, throw the Aniipod to capture it.

Use Better Aniipods for a Better Chance

Although stealth and fight are the two common ways you can get most of the creatures in Aniimo, using better Aniipods will save you a lot of resources. The regular Aniipod is a basic capturing item that you can use casually for capturing Aniimo. However, if you are facing an Aniimo that requires numerous Aniipods to capture, then it is best that you use a better Aniipod to save the regular Aniipods.

I recommend using Aniipod Pro or Aniipod Mega against the high-level Aniimo. Aniipod Pro has a 1.5x capture chance, and Aniipod Mega has a 2x capture chance. Using these Aniipods will save you a lot of regular Aniipods. Other than these Aniipods, you can use the Tumbler if you are looking to catch multiple Aniimo at a time. The Tumbler can be controlled manually and has a default 2x capture chance, but if you catch multiple Aniimo through nurture, the capture chance rises to 6x. It is the best Aniipod to capture multiple Aniimo at a time.
