Disney Dreamlight Valley: On the Path of Stars Quest Guide

On the Path of Stars is a new event quest for Merlin in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It was recently added with the Season of Scares update and is the introductory quest to the new Astronomer’s Journey Star Path. Players can pursue this new Star Path to unlock clothing, furniture, and motifs. However, before they can unlock all of the exclusive items, they must pursue the introductory quest. In this guide, we will walk you through the On the Path of Stars quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

On the Path of Stars Quest Walkthrough – Disney Dreamlight Valley

The On the Path of Stars quest becomes available after unlocking Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Scrooge McDuck. All of these characters unlock early in the game, so it does not take long, even if you are a new player. Once the quest is available, speak with Merlin to initiate the quest.

Place the Event Board

After you speak with Merlin, he will give you an Event Board. It is a new item that you can use to track up to three live events in the game. Open the furniture mode and place the Event Board near your house. Once done, speak with Merlin to get more information about the Event Board.

Take a look at the Astronomer’s Journey Star Path

Interact with the Event Board to open the “Event” tab in which you can find all the active events. Select the Astronomer’s Journey Star Path to view all the duties and rewards. Since you have placed the Event Board, you should have 50 Star Pieces. Use the Star Pieces to claim one of the items from the Rewards section. Once done, exit the Event tab and speak with Merlin.

Embark on the Astronomer’s Journey

For the rest of the quest, you need to complete the Astronomer’s Journey Star Path. This means you have to complete all the duties and unlock all rewards. To get started with the Star Path, complete any 4 duties. Optionally, you can speak with Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Scrooge McDuck to ask them about the falling star. Complete the duties to gain Star Pieces and unlock enough rewards to reach the next tier.

NOTE: The Astronomer’s Journey Star Path Premium is free (costs 0 Moonstones). Make sure to activate the premium star path so you can complete up to 6 duties at a time.

Dress as an Astronomer’s Apprentice

Upon unlocking the next tier of the Astronomer’s Journey Star Path, speak with Merlin. He will ask you to dress up as an Astronomer’s Apprentice. To do so, claim all the outfit rewards from the initial tier of the Star Path, and then equip the clothing items on your Avatar.

Complete Routine Duties and Earn All Rewards

After dressing up your Avatar as an Astronomer’s Apprentice, complete the Routine Duties of the Astronomer’s Journey Star Path. Here are all the Routine Duties.

• Take a picture of the Event Board – Reward: 25 Star Pieces
• Wear the Astronomer’s Apprentice backpack – Reward: 25 Star Pieces
• Give any gem to Merlin – Reward: 50 Star Pieces

After completing all the Routine Duties, complete any remaining regular duties of the Star Path. Complete all 15 regular Duties and claim all the rewards from the tiers. After you have completed the Astronomer’s Journey Star Path, speak with Merlin to conclude the quest.
