Palia: How to Get Fossilized Lantern Resin

The Royal Highlands adventure zone is the biggest one in Palia and offers some of the rarest resources in the game. Although wood and minerals are easy to come by with woodcutting and mining in the zone, Fossilized Lantern Resin is one of the rarest materials. It is a crucial material, especially for crafting Amadeus’ Blessing V Relic. In this guide, we will explain how to get Fossilized Lantern Resin in Palia.

How to Get Fossilized Lantern Resin in Palia

The Fossilized Lantern Resin is an Epic-rarity material that drops from cutting down the Lantern Ash trees in Royal Highlands. Although it sounds simple enough, the drop rate for the resin is extremely low. Chopping down the Lantern Ash trees requires at least a Fine Axe, so make sure that you have your tools upgraded. Although the whole method is RNG, the best way to raise your chances of acquiring a Fossilized Lantern Resin is to equip an Amadeus’ Blessing relic.

The Amadeus’ Blessing relic increases the overall chances of gaining Highland-exclusive drops. As the Fossilized Lantern Resin is exclusive to Royal Highlands, it works perfectly for that matter. If you have the Amadeus’ Blessing IV relic, then use that for the best chance to get the resin drop.

To farm the Lantern Ash trees, start at the Lonely Glen, then head to Standing Cliffs. Alternatively, the Royal Hunting Grounds is also a good place to farm the trees. Remember, it is an RNG method, so it might take you hundreds of trees for a single resin.

Use of Fossilized Lantern Resin in Palia

The Fossilized Lantern Resin is mainly required for crafting Amadeus’ Blessing V (Legendary Relic). It is the top-rarity relic for rare item drop chance in the game. Other than that, there might be some villagers who request the resin, so keep an eye on them. Moreover, you can gift the Fossilized Lantern Resin to villagers. Lastly, you can sell the Fossilized Lantern Resin at the Shipping Bin or Zeki for 350 Gold.
