Phantom Blade Zero: All Blackstone Shards in Weeping Creek Valley

The Blackstone Shards are the fragments of the Blackstone collectible in Phantom Blade Zero. Blackstone is a crucial item that permanently increases Soul’s attack power and guard break by 10%. It is the only way to increase Soul’s attack stats permanently. However, the Blackstone is not found as a whole; instead, you have to find Blackstone Shards. Finding 4 Blackstone Shards forms 1 Blackstone. Once you have a full Blackstone, it unlocks the new nodes in the first row of the Skill Tree. The first region that you explore is the Weeping Creek Valley, and there are exactly four Blackstone Shards that you can find. All Blackstone Shards in Weeping Creek Valley

There are four Blackstone Shards in the Weeping Creek Valley region. It is the first region you explore in the main story. Here is how you can gather all four Blackstone Shards in the Weeping Creek Valley region.

Blackstone Shard #1 – Inside Cellar Outside Outpost

The Outpost is one of the main areas you cross through while traversing the Weeping Creek Valley. Just before you enter the main gate to the Outpost, there is a locked cellar on the left side. The first Blackstone Shard is inside the cellar.

To open the cellar, you must find the Cell Key. From the main outpost bell, head through the main door ahead and take a right on the path to enter a house. Climb through the window of the house to go up, and you will find the key on the ground beside a body. Pick up the key and go back to retrieve the Blackstone Shard.

Blackstone Shard #2 – Defeat the Old Archer’s Corrupted Disciples

Progress through the Weeping Creek Valley until you reach the Ruthless Archer Camp near the Creek Valley Plains Entrance Bell. Defeat all of the enemies in the area. As you eliminate the final enemy, you will get the Blackstone Shard.

NOTE: These are the same enemies you have to eliminate during the “Purge the Sect” tale.

Blackstone Shard #3 – Inside a Chest Past the Long Pillar Overlook Bell

After defeating the Hunt (boss) and acquiring the Sickles, you can get the third and fourth Blackstone Shards. For the third shard, cross the bridge past the Long Pillar Overlook Bell, go to the bottom area, and climb up the platform at the end by the waterfall. Here, you will find a chest that you can loot to get the Blackstone Shard.

Blackstone Shard #4 – Defeat the Bronze Soldiers

From the Long Pillar Overlook Bell, head left and follow the path leading underneath the Sha-Chi tower. Go up the stairs under the tower and eliminate the Bronze Soldiers. Upon defeating the final Bronze Soldier, you will get the fourth Blackstone Shard.

Upon collecting all four Blackstone Shards, you will have 1x Blackstone, which will permanently increase Soul’s attack power and guard break by 10%.
