Adam Badowski on six-day working hours at CDPR: “Everyone will be rewarded for every extra hour»
According to Adam Badowski, the next six weeks will be CD Projekt RED’s “last push” before the release of Cyberpunk 2077. Apparently, they are not going to postpone the release in the Studio — even because of overwork.
Most of the team understands the need for extra effort, especially since we sent the game for certification, and every day brings us closer to the release of a game that we want to be proud of.
This is one of the most difficult decisions I’ve made, but everyone will be well rewarded for every extra hour.
As before, 10% of our annual profit in 2020 will be distributed among the team.

Badowski responded to a story published by Bloomberg. In it, journalists shared an internal letter from the head of CD Projekt RED, in which he informed the developers about the introduction of a six-day operation mode until the release of Cyberpunk 2077, in order to catch all the bugs and errors in the game.
Previously, CD Projekt RED said that they want to do without rework during the development of Cyberpunk 2077, but they still could not avoid them.
