How to Take Pictures of Birds in Heartopia
The Bird Watching hobby becomes available at DG Level 6. This opens the opportunity to use the Hobby Expansion Ticket at one of the mentors to acquire the hobby. You must go to Bailey J. and use the ticket to learn the Bird Watching hobby. Once done, Bailey J. will give you a Scanner. It is the main tool that you will be using to take pictures of Birds.
Taking pictures of birds in Heartopia is a straightforward and easy process. You must observe the bird and set the reticle to lock onto the bird. After that, you just need to press the button to take a picture. It will give you an information card for the bird and a star rating for the picture. You can give the information cards to Bailey J. to earn additional rewards or sell the cards for gold. During the observation, do not get too close to the bird; it will fly away. Keep a safe distance and zoom using the scanner to observe and take pictures. If a bird is out of focus, you will get the Invalid information card.
Star Rating and Rare Birds
Now, to make a better information card, you need a better picture. If you take a picture of a bird in an idle position, you will get a 1-star rating. The birds have a variety of poses. You must observe them and take a picture at the moment of the pose to get a higher star rating. Moreover, the rare birds usually appear during the Nest of Hundreds event. If you want to find rare birds, initiate the event in the East Fishing Village.
