Armored Core VI: Handgun

There are various weapons to choose from for different parts of your Mech in Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. As players can hold up to four different weapons on their Mech, it can be difficult to choose which weapons to run. However, one of the best weapons for the early game is the HG-003 Coquillett Handgun.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get a Handgun in Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon.

How to Get Handgun

To get your hands on the HG-003 Coquillett Handgun, you will have to unlock the Parts Shop feature. This feature will unlock once you have completed the Destroy Artillery Installations mission in Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. It is the second main mission of Chapter 1 that players will get to complete in the very first hour of the game. Once you have completed the mission, you will be able to access the Parts Shop from the Garage.

Access the Parts Shop and select the Buy section. You will be able to equip the Handgun either in the R-Arm Unit as well as L-Arm Unit. If you want to equip it in the Right Arm unit, select and buy the Handgun from the R-Arm Unit tab of the shop. Or if you want to keep your pre-owned Right Arm Weapon, buy the Handgun from the L-Arm Unit tab but keep in mind it will replace your Melee Weapon which can be effective in various encounters.

Buying the HG-003 Coquillett Handgun will cost 35,000 COAM each and you can also buy it for both of your units to shoot them at the same time for more effective damage and stagger rate. After buying the Handgun, it will be equipped automatically on your Mech.

Simply exit the Parts Shop and start the new mission or start the AC Training to test your new weapon.
