The Confidence Collapse is a Friendship Level 4 quest for Badruu in Palia. After making the confidence charm for Badruu with Auni, Auni visits you and tells you that she has accidentally ruined the charm. You must help Auni to fix the charm and bring it back to Badruu. In this guide, we will walk you through the Confidence Collapse quest in Palia.

How to Complete the Confidence Collapse Quest in Palia

Starting the quest

Starting the Confidence Collapse quest will require the player to reach Friendship Level 4 with Badruu and complete the Music to My Ears quest. Upon reaching Level 4 and completing the prerequisite quest, Auni will visit you at the housing plot. Speak with Auni, and he will tell you about the confidence charm that you and he made for Badruu. As the conversation ends, the Confidence Collapse quest will begin.

Talk to Tamala

After speaking with Auni, go to Tamala and ask her if she can repair the charm. Go through the dialogues, and she will tell you to gather a bunch of ingredients for the repair.

Gather the ingredients for Tamala

For Tamala to fix the charm, she will tell you to gather the following ingredients.

Water from an ancient spring: Collect the Bottle of Water from the Flooded Fortress near the tunnel to the Pavel Mines.
Dirt from the deepest cave: Go to the main entrance of the Pavel Mines and continue straight to get a Bottle of Dirt on the ground.
Air from the highest spire: Go to the Old Lighthouse and make your way to the back to get the Bottle of Air.

After gathering all of the ingredients, go back to Tamala. Speak with her to give her the ingredients, and she will repair the charm.

Report back to Auni

Now, go back to Auni and show him the repaired charm. However, Auni does not want to give the charm to Badruu. He will tell you to hide it in the barn for Badruu to find it. Alternatively, you can bring it to Badruu and tell him what happened. If you want to hide the charm, go to the barn and interact with the sparkling spot. It will conclude the quest. If you speak with Badruu and give him the charm, you will tell him everything, and the quest will end.
