Destiny 2: How to Complete Temptation Quest – The Final Shape

The Temptation is the second campaign mission of The Final Shape Expansion in Destiny 2 and players will be able to begin it at The Pale Heart. Players will reach The Pale Heart during the first campaign mission, Transmigration and once they have completed it, they will be able to pursue the next quest.

How to Start the Temptation Quest

To start the second main quest of The Final Shape, open the menu and head over to the Quests tab to find the Temptation quest. Track it and follow the objective marker to reach the starting point of the quest. Once there, hold down the interaction key to begin the mission and when the quest window opens up, select the Launch option.

Search for Crow

As the mission begins, follow the objective marker to go through a corridor of the building to come out the other side. Continue ahead to reach a platform and then jump down to a monastery-looking building below. Once you have reached the building, head down the stairs and keep on following the path until you come out to a big open area.

There will be several enemies in the open area so deal with all of them and continue following the crow until you reach a blocked cave. From here, go to the bridge on the right side to find a large disc on the ground.

Deactivate Conduits

Bringing down the barriers that are blocking the path will require you to deactivate the conduit using the disc. The disc has two hands, one on each side, and a dial in the center which will move correspondingly by moving a handle. The hand on the right side will move the dial in the clockwise direction and the hand on the left side will move the dial in the counterclockwise direction.

However, moving the hand each time will require a Psion Charge which is earned by eliminating Psion enemies. Now, another thing worth mentioning is that each Psion charge will move the dial for a respective number of notches. If you kill one Psion enemy and use the charge to move one of either hand, the dial will move only up to 1 notch.

There are three conduits that you need to disable and each conduit will require a certain number of turns. Follow the method defined below in steps to deactivate all three conduits.

• Conduit 1: You need to turn the Clockwise handle with three Psion Charges. Kill three Psion enemies and use the charges to move the handle at once or do it individually.
• Conduit 2: Turn the Counterclockwise handle with three Psion Charges, and then turn the Clockwise handle with two Psion Charges.
• Conduit 3: Turn the Clockwise handle with two Psion Charges, turn the Counterclockwise handle with three Psion Charges, and then turn the Counterclockwise handle with two Psion Charges.

After deactivating all three conduits, the blocked cave will now be open for you to traverse through.

Defeat the Pillar of Denial

As you are about to reach the cave, you will encounter the Pillar of Denial. This boss fight is not that difficult as you will have to attack the boss and the dark pillar whenever it appears. Focus on the boss at the start and when the pillar appears, shoot it down. Now, rinse and repeat to defeat the Pillar of Denial.

Continue Finding the Crow

Make your way through the cave ahead to eventually reach another blocked path. Here, you will get to encounter several enemies and a mini-boss named Enlightened Omen. Defeat all of the enemies and the Enlightened Omen to make your way ahead.

You will go through a cavern area filled with various puzzling structures in between. Keep on following the objective marker to make your way ahead and you will eventually meet Crow. Upon meeting with Crow, listen to the conversation and the quest will be concluded.
