Red Death Reformed is one of the new Exotic Weapons added to Destiny 2 with the Final Shape expansion. If you are a veteran Destiny player, then you might remember it from the old Destiny 1 days and now it has finally returned for players to use it again in the new expansion.

How to Get Red Death Reformed in Destiny 2

The Red Death Reformed is an Exotic Pulse Rifle that is unlocked by the Episode: Echoes Season Pass. It is available for both paid and free Season Pass, but both versions have a catch. For the paid season pass, you don’t have to do anything as it is rewarded in the very first tier of the season pass. You will be able to run it on your first playthrough as soon as you boot up the DLC and grab it from the paid season pass.

However, for the free Season Pass version, the Red Death Reformed will unlock at tier 40. Players with the free version will have to level up through the Season Pass to reach tier 40 to unlock the Red Death Reformed. In both ways, it is easy to unlock, but if you wish to get it as soon as possible, you will have to upgrade to the paid Season Pass or purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game.

The Paid Season Pass will cost you 1,200 Silver so if you are down for that, do it as the Red Death Reformed is probably the best Exotic Pulse Rifle in the game at the moment.

How to Get the Red Death Reformed Catalyst in Destiny 2

The Red Death Reformed Catalyst is unlocked in the same way as its weapon but it is a part of Act 2 of the Season Pass. Currently, players will only have access to Act 1 of the Season Pass and the Red Death Reformed Catalyst unlocks at tier 45 (145) of Act 2.

Fortunately, unlike the weapon, it is a free reward so both the paid and the free holders of Season Pass have to rank up in the Season Pass of Act 2 to get it.
