Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition is coming to the Nintendo Switch

Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening, known in Japan as simply Devil May Cry 3, is a hack and slash video game developed and published by Capcom, released in 2005 for the PlayStation 2 and ported to Microsoft Windows in 2006. The game is a prequel to the original Devil May Cry, featuring a younger Dante.

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition has been announced this afternoon for Nintendo Switch. This is a new edition that will be launched next year in the eShop.

Capcom has confirmed that this version will be available for sale for $19.99 on February 20th. This version adds some content to “Devil May Cry 3”, which is a shared description:

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition offers an action pack full of style to Nintendo Switch, offering the incorporation of Vergil as a playable character and the 9,999 floors of the “Bloody Palace” survival mode.
