Maintenance tasks declared for Pokémon sword/shield

Pokémon Sword and Shield was officially launched worldwide on November 15 exclusively for Nintendo Switch and since then its sales have not stopped growing (it sold more than six million copies in just a couple of days ), being the best selling game of the moment for the hybrid platform.

Well, we get news about it and Nintendo is announcing that there are maintenance tasks for Pokémon Sword and Shield scheduled for November 26 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. JST (November 25 from 9:00 p.m. – 00: 00): 00 PT) .

For many fans of the series, the best part of a delivery of the main line of Pokémon is the competitive one; a combat section in which players connect online to accumulate points, earn new ranks and compete to be the best.
Unfortunately with a premiere as successful as that of Pokémon Sword and Shield , many challenges for the servers also came. The players reported connectivity failures when trying to access the online functions, accompanied by error messages similar to the following:
The network service may be in maintenance or an incident may have occurred. Please try again later.

Nintendo apologized for “the inconvenience caused” and confirmed that the service was failing and was not behaving normally, inviting players to try again later. However, the servers remained in an unpredictable state the following days and were completely out of service twice since the launch of Pokémon Sword and Shield .

Although no more details of these maintenance tasks have been shared, it is most likely that these are tasks to improve the online section of the game. We will stay tuned to inform you of all the details that are shared.
