Diablo IV: How to Get Azurewrath

Azurewrath is a new Unique Item in Diablo IV, added in Season of Malignant, and it is specifically for the Barbarian Class. As the Barbarian is the best melee class in the game, to reach the max potential of the Barbarian, it is best to obtain Azurewrath. The sword applies a freezing effect on enemies and deals additional cold damage to frozen enemies.

If you want to get your hands on Azurewrath for your Barbarian character, then you are at the right place. We will tell you how to get Azurewrath in Diablo IV.

How to Get Azurewrath in Diablo IV

The Unique Items, or so-called Uber Unique Items, are obtained from killing foes of level 85 or higher in World Tier 4 Torment Difficulty, and Azurewrath is one of them. Players will have to unlock Torment Difficulty in their game by completing the Fallen Temple Capstone Dungeon. Upon unlocking World Tier 4 (Torment Difficulty), players need to reach Tier 31 in Nightmare Dungeons to encounter level 85+ mobs.

Defeating level 85+ mobs and elite enemies has a good chance of dropping Azurewrath on the ground. However, there is no guarantee that players will get it in one go. The Uber Unique Items are the rarest in the game, and the drop rate for Azurewrath is 1 in 1,000,000, so it will take a lot of grinding before players get it. If luck is on their side, they might obtain it earlier than most players of the game.

Azurewrath’s Unique Effect in Diablo IV

To increase the chances of getting Azurewrath, players can participate in the following activities regularly on a daily basis:

  • Defeat level 85+ foes and elite enemies.
  • Complete World Events.
  • Complete Nightmare Dungeons.
  • Partake in Helltide Events.
  • Defeat World Bosses.

Azurewrath’s Unique Effect in Diablo IV

Azurewrath provides the following unique effect to the Barbarian Class in Diablo IV:

Unique Effect: Core Skills have up to a 20% chance to freeze enemies for 3 seconds and deal 0.75 – 1.5 Cold Damage to enemies.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
