Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Prince in Disguise – Quest Walkthrough

A Prince in Disguise is the first quest for the Beast that players will get to complete once they have completed the Into the West Wing! quest for Belle.

In this guide, we’ll be covering the A Prince in Disguise quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

A Prince in Disguise – Quest Walkthrough

To start the quest, you need to talk to the Beast who can be found in the West Wing area of the Beauty and the Beast Realm.

Find the Key Pieces

The Beast will ask for your help and you will have to find 3 different key pieces that the Beast hid around the Castle. You can find the key pieces in the following locations.

• Hidden in a hot place: Use the Watering Can on the Fireplace in the library.
• Hidden in a place where silence roars: Use the Pickaxe on the Lion Statue outside of the West Wing.
• Hidden in a thorny place: Use the Shovel to dig the spot in the middle of the maze.

After finding all the key pieces, go back to the Beast in the West Wing and give him the key pieces.

Gather the Materials for the Book Kit

Beast will see in the mirror to see what Belle likes and your character will suggest her gifting her with a Book Kit so that she can write stories. The Beast will agree and you will have to gather the following materials to craft the Book Kit.

• 20x Fiber
• 3x Purple Falling Penstemon
• 1x Empty Vial

After getting the materials, you will also require 1 Feather for which you need to talk to Scrooge. Scrooge will give you the feather for free.

Craft Book Kit

Once you have gathered all of the required materials, you need to go to the Crafting Station and select the Functional Items tab to craft the Book Kit. After crafting the Book Kit, go back to the Beast in the Beauty and the Beast Realm and give him the Book Kit.

Clean the Beast

Before the Beast gets to give a surprise to Belle, you will have to fix him for which you need to get the following items.

• Beast’s Brush
• Princely Cologne
• Princely Shampoo

All of the items will be in the West Wing with a shining effect so, it will be easy to find them. After finding all the items, give them to the Beast and then follow the Beast to listen to his apology to Belle in the maze.

Place the Beast’s Castle in Dreamlight Valley

After listening to the apology, talk to Belle and she will ask you to place the Beast’s Castle in the Dreamlight Valley so, that they could live there. Now, make your way to the Valley, go into the Build Mode, and select the Beast’s Castle to place it down an area. Once you have placed down the foundation of the Beast’s Castle, interact with Scrooge’s board to pay 20,000 Gold to make the Beast’s Castle.

Once the Beast’s Castle has been placed successfully, Belle will appear in the Valley and you will have to talk to Belle to get a letter. Take the letter to Beast in the Realm and he will come to the Valley as well which will conclude the quest.
