Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to do Farming

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life simulation game in which players can do a lot of things and farming is one of them. Farming is one of the earliest things in game and it is relatively similar to other simulation games.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to do farming in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Farming

You’ll be able to start farming after completing the quest named “The Royal Tools” from Merlin. The Royal Tools quest will get you all the tools needed in the game. You’ll be needing a Shovel and a Watering Can to start farming. In other simulation games, you might want to get the farming land but in this game, it is relatively easy. You can start farming in the garden outside of your house.

You’ll need to clear the Night Thorns from the garden and once they are cleared, you can start the farming. Press the tab and equip the Shovel, you’ll see the highlighted spot on the garden where your character will dig the whole for the seed. Press the action button to dig the hole and after that, you’ll get the option to plant the seed if you look towards the dig spot. Press the interaction button to plant the seed and then you’ll need to water the seed. Press the tab and equip the Watering Can and then press the action button on the spot to water the seed.

After the seed is been watered, the crop will be grown after a certain time. If you don’t water the seed, the crop will not grow so make sure that your crop is not dusted. If the crop is dusted or it needed to be watered then you can check it from your map. A red crop will start showing on your map and then you can water it to clear the red sign on the map.

You can get the crops seeds from Goofy’s stalls in different areas of the maps. You’ll need to buy the seeds from goofy to grow the crops on your farm. You can also find the Fruit Trees and Berry Bushes in different areas of the map. Fruit Trees and Berry Bushes are very limited so, you can only get them a few number of times from different areas of the map. Although, the technique to plant the trees and bushes are the same. You’ll need to dig the hole and then plant the seed and then need to water it and wait for it to fully grow and then you can harvest it.
