Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Find an Emerald

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, there are various resources as well as valuables. One of the valuables in the game is Gem. There are 18 different types of gems in the game and they all have a different sell price. The more unique is a gem the higher its value. Other than selling these gems, you’ll also have to collect them for various quests.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get an Emerald Gem in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Finding an Emerald

Emerald is required for many quests and these quests will be given to you when you unlock the new areas around the village. Emerald is a gem of green color similar to Peridot gem but Peridot is one of the gems that you can find in the starting areas of the map. Emerald can only be found in the following two locations.

• Forest of Valor
• Glade of Trust

Forest of Valor is on the East side of the Plaza area and Glade of Trust is on the Southwest of the map. Both of these areas will require 5,000 Dreamlight to unlock. You can unlock anyone in the area and then look for the Black-Colored Rocks with green jewels on them. The green jewels will indicate Emerald and when you smash the rocks, you’ll get Emerald. Emerald’s Sell price is 325 coins. You can sell it on the stalls of Goofy.

As this game is in early access and hasn’t launched completely, there are some bugs and one of the bugs is that the Black-Colored Rocks don’t have jewels sometimes. But if you smash them with your Pickaxe, you’ll be able to get the gems. So, if you see any Black-Colored rocks, just smash them to get the Coal or gems.
