Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Get Neon Koi Lantern & Take a Photo

Disney Dreamlight Valley: Pixel Perfect free update is available now, bringing Ralph to the Valley, new cosmetics, improvements, and a new Star Path. With every new Star Path, there comes a new theme and numerous new duties to complete. The Pop City Star Path offers various items, including clothing, furniture, motifs, Dream Styles, and Companions. Players can acquire the items by redeeming them from the Star Path tiers in exchange for Neon Tokens. One of the confusing duties in the Star Path is to take a photo of the Neon Koi Lantern. In this guide, we will explain how to get the Neon Koi Lantern and take a photo of it in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Get Neon Koi Lantern in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Neon Koi Lantern is one of the redeemable rewards in the Pop City Star Path. Meaning, it can only be obtained by progressing in the new Star Path. Pop City Star Path contains several rewards divided among 7 tiers. Players can redeem using the Event Currency, which is the Neon Tokens. Tier 6 of the Star Path includes the Neon Koi Lantern reward, which can be redeemed for 75 Neon Tokens.

There are 3 daily duties that players can complete per day with the Regular Star Path. Completing each duty will reward players with 5 – 50 tokens. However, players who have the Premium Star Path will have access to 6 daily duties, allowing them to farm the tokens quickly. In addition to the regular duties, there are also the Routine Duties. The Routine Duties include three weekly tasks for players to complete. Every Wednesday, a new set of weekly duties will unlock under the Routine Duties section. Completing the weekly duties will also reward you with Neon Tokens.

Upon earning the event currency of the Star Path, go into the Star Path menu and select the ‘Rewards’ tab to redeem the Neon Koi Lantern.

How to Take a Photo of Neon Koi Lantern in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Once you have the Neon Koi Lantern, you can set it up how you like it. Place it either in the Valley or inside the player’s house to take a picture of it. Once you are done setting it up, open the camera and either take a selfie with it or a regular photo. Either way, the “Take Photo: Neon Koi Lantern” duty will be completed. Completing this duty rewards the player with 30 Neon Tokens.
