Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Get Rainbow Fox Companion

All new story content, new cosmetics, furniture, houses, character skins, and much more have been added in the new update called The Remembering of Disney Dreamlight Valley. There is also a new secret companion that players can unlock in the new update. The secret companion is a Rainbow Fox and the Rainbow color is actually in a running Wave Style which constantly changes on the Fox. I mean what is better than fixing the Valley while a cute rainbow companion follows you around everywhere?

How to Get Rainbow Fox Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Rainbow Fox Companion can be unlocked by progressing in one of the main quests of The Remembering update questline. As you progress through the questline of Fairy Godmother, you will unlock a new quest for Merlin named The Forgotten Castle. Before you complete this quest, you need to complete the Potato Quest. The Mysterious Potato Quest has finally been completed and by completing the quest, you will craft the Rainbow Potion. Remember this potion is the key item for unlocking the Rainbow Fox Companion.

Once you have the Rainbow Potion, put it in your inventory and start progressing through the quest of Merlin. In the quest, you will go through different characters houses to find Relics and after finding all of the Relics, Merlin will be able to open up the Portal which will take you to the Dark Castle. Go inside the Dark Castle and a cutscene will start. Go through the cutscene and instead of talking to a portal in front, you need to go to the right side by removing the Night Thorns in the Dark Castle. As you go ahead to the right side, you will reach an area where you will see an Old and Gray Fox statue.

You need to interact with the statue and you will be asked to place the Rainbow Potion on it. Simply select the Rainbow Potion and the Fox will come alive. Now, complete the quest and when you come back to the valley, you will be able to summon the Rainbow Fox Companion through the Companions Tab in the menu.
