Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Get Salmon

There are a lot of items, resources, and ingredients in Disney Dreamlight Valley that players will need to get for a lot of different things. They might need to get the items for the quests and one of the many quests that’ll involve cooking will require you to get Salmon several times. The new storyline of Scar will require players to get Salmon and cook dishes with it.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get Salmon in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Getting Salmon

Salmon is a late-mid game fish that can only be caught by fishing in the Sunlit Plateau or Frosted Heights biomes. Both of these biomes can only be unlocked later in the game and players will not have access to these areas early in the game. Players will have to earn the Dreamlight Points and then spend the points on the entrance of these areas to remove the Night Thorns to get into the areas. The Sunlit Plateau is cheaper than the Frosted Heights and if you want to get Salmon then you can get it from Sunlit Plateau as well. The Sunlit Plateau biome requires 7,000 Dreamlight Points to unlock and the Frosted Heights biome requires 10,000 Dreamlight Points to unlock.

Once you’ve unlocked any 1 of the biomes then you can get your hands on Salmon by fishing in the water. To catch Salmon from the lake or pond, you’ll need to look for the White bubbles in the water. If you fish in the area of the white bubble, you’ll always catch a Salmon. White color circles are easily spawned and if you don’t see any white ones, you’ll have to wait for them or you can catch the blue ones to spawn the new circles and there is a chance that a white one will spawn. Once you’ve seen the white circle, equip the Fishing Rod and aim yourself toward the White Circle, and cast the line inside the white circle. You’ll have to do the same fishing process to catch Salmon. Press the left-click button when the circle goes green and you’ll catch the Salmon.

Salmon can be used in any fish recipe or recipe that requires Salmon with other ingredients and the selling price of Salmon is 150 Star Coins. You can also eat Salmon to restore your energy up to 500.
