Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Get the Green Potato

The Mysterious Potatoes have returned in the latest update of Disney Dreamlight Valley and fortunately, players would be able to complete the whole Mysterious Potato Quest by gathering all the required different colors of Potatoes. In the previous update, players gathered Golden, Orange, Blue, and Red Potatoes. In the new update, there are 2 new potatoes that players will have to gather by completing certain tasks. One of the potatoes that players will find in the latest update is the Green Potato.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get the Green Potato in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Get the Green Potato in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Green Potato is the fifth Mysterious Potato in Disney Dreamlight Valley that players would have to get in order to solve the Mysterious Potato Quest that has been ongoing for 5-6 months. Just like the rest of the Potatoes that you have got in the previous updates, Green Potato will require a number of tasks that you would have to complete. We will go through the tasks one by one in order so, you can complete them without much hassle.

Fish Out Emerald Bottles

The very first task that players would have to complete is to fish out 16 Emerald Bottles that are spread across the Valley. These Bottles would be inside the Water and you would be able to see them floating in water. You need to catch them by fishing them out with your Royal Fishing Rod. You can find the Emerald Bottles in the following locations.

• Dazzle Beach (5 Bottles)
• Glade of Trust (4 Bottles)
• Peaceful Meadow (2 Bottles)
• Forest of Valor (1 Bottle)
• Sunlit Plateau (2 Bottles)
• Frosted Heights (1 Bottle)
• Forgotten Lands (1 Bottle)

Now, in order to fish out the bottles, you need to cast the line of the fishing rod directly on top of the bottle. Doing it correctly will turn the circle automatically orange and by completing the mini-game, you will fish out the Emerald Bottle.

It is the only long task in the required tasks for the Green Potato, once you have fished out all 16 Emerald Bottles, you can move on to the next task.

Use the Gathered Emerald Bottles

This task is very simple and easy to complete, you just need to open your inventory and you need to Use the Emerald Bottles by selecting them one by one. By doing that, each Emerald Bottle will give you an Emerald Sliver.

Craft the Jade Crystal

Once you have all 16 Emerald Sliver pieces in your inventory, you will be needing them to craft them into a Jade Crystal. Head to any Crafting Station in the Valley and go to Functional Items Tab. Select the Jade Crystal recipe and then select the Make option to craft it.

Get the Green Seed

The next task is to get the Green Seed from the Secret Room in Vitalys Mines in Sunlit Plateau. Go to the Vitalys Mines and go straight and you will come up on a secret room on your right which we used in earlier quests. Go inside the room and you will see a shining Green Orb in front. Interact with it and the Green Seed will pop out of the Green Orb. Grab the Green Seed to store it in your inventory.

Plant the Green Seed

Now, this Green Seed can only be planted in the Forgotten Lands otherwise it will not grow. Head to the Forgotten Lands biome and plant the Green Seed. Use the Watering Can with Elixir to instantly grow the Seed and by harvesting the plant, you will get the Green Potato.

Once you have the Green Potato, you can complete its Mysterious Quest (Green Potato Quest Link) to make further progress in the Potato Quest.
