Disney Dreamlight Valley is a simulation game in which there are a lot of things to do. Players can complete the quests along with fishing, farming, cooking, or crafting. Just like in other simulation games, players can also upgrade their base in Disney Dreamlight Valley but it would be confusing early in the game because players will not see any upgrading mechanic in their house or outside of the house.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how you can upgrade your house in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Upgrade the House
In order to upgrade the house, you’ll need to go to Plaza and talk to Scrooge McDuck. He’ll give you a quest named “Dreamlight Valley Economy 101” in which you’ll have to sell gems (Any type of gems) to Goofy in Peaceful Meadows. You can get gems by breaking the rocks with a Pickaxe. Rocks will drop various types of gems and you’ll need to sell 7 gems to Goofy. You can find the black-colored rocks almost everywhere in the valley. Just go and smash some rocks and you’ll get gems. Once you’ve 7 gems in your inventory, go to the shop of Goofy in Peaceful Meadows and select the option “Sell”.
Select all of the 7 gems and you’ll see a new objective in the quest that Scrooge has another lesson for you to learn. Go to the Plaza and talk to Scrooge and he’ll tell you to spend the Dreamlight Coins on your house to expand its space.
After talking to Scrooge, go to your house and enter inside the house and look to your left. There’ll be a new platform and it’s called Elevator. You need to go on the Elevator and interact with it and you’ll get the option to Expand House. Click on the Expand button and you’ll see the main area of your house and you can expand it to 6×6 with 1,000 Dreamlight Coins. Click on Expand to increase the space in your house and you can increase the space further and it’ll cost more coins. With bigger space, you can easily decorate your house to your liking.
