Disney Dreamlight Valley: Making of a Monarch (Quest) Walkthrough

After completing the Scar quests and leveling up the friendship level to level 10 with Scar, you’ll unlock the last quest for him named “Making of a Monarch” in which you have to do several things for Scar.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to complete the Making of a Monarch quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Making of a Monarch

Talk to Scar and he’ll tell you to prepare meals for the dinner at Scar’s Cave. Scar will give you two recipes and you need to open the inventory and learn the recipes. The recipes that Scar gave are for the following dishes.

• Teriyaki Salmon
• Snow White’s Gooseberry Pie

You need to cook both of these dishes for Dinner at Scar’s Cave, For Teriyaki Salmon, you need the following ingredients.

• Soya
• Salmon
• Sugarcane
• Rice
• Ginger

All of these ingredients are easy to get and when you have all of the ingredients, go to the cooking station and cook the dish by putting all the ingredients in the Cooking Pot. For Snow White’s Gooseberry Pie, you need to gather the following ingredients.

• Gooseberry
• Wheat
• Butter

Gooseberries are found in the Forgotten Lands and you can easily pick them up from there the rest of the ingredients are easy to get. Once you’ve all of the ingredients, go to the Cooking Station and put the ingredients in the Cooking Pot to cook the dish.

After cooking both of the dishes, go to Scar’s Cave and talk to him and give him both of the dishes. After that, you need to find Merlin and talk to him. Your character will say that you need to help Scar and Merlin will tell you to put a couple of Sunbird Feeders near the Pond. Now, you need to craft 2 Sunbird Feeders which will require the following resources.

• 40x Softwood
• 10x Dark Wood
• 20x Cotton
• 6x Red Bromeliad
• 6x Pink Houseleek

Dark Wood can be found in the Forgotten Lands and the rest of the resources can be found in the Sunlit Plateau biome. After you’ve got all the resources, go to the crafting station and craft 2 Sunbird Feeders. After that, you need to place both of the Sunbird Feeders near the pond in Sunlit Plateau. Open the building mode and place the Sunbird Feeders around the pond. After that, talk to Scar and then you need to feed a couple of Sunbirds in the Sunlit Plateau.

Grab a couple of random flowers from the ground and go to Sunbirds to feed them. Approach the birds and give them flowers to feed them. After feeding 2 sunbirds, talk to Scar and then you need to go to Scar’s Cave. After talking to Scar, something will appear on the ground. Pick up the shining object which will be a Mysterious Mirror Shard from the ground and give it to Scar to conclude the quest.
